In recent days, the Dickster, Richard Silverstein, has been devoting his daily diaper droppings to purportedly "exposing" an Israeli journalist named Yoav Even. According to Kapo Dickie, Even is a rapist. We certainly hope Even will join the growing bandwagon of those suing the diaper off Silverstein's posterior for this.
Now we do not know if Even is really being investigated for anything criminal and certainly are not willing to take serial liar Silverstein's word for it. And in any case Even is innocent until proven otherwise, in contrast with Silverstein's hypothesis that ALL Israelis are guilty even after being proven innocent.
What we DO find so delicious is Dickie claiming in the very same blog entry to speak for all israeli women. There writes Silverstein:
Got that? Just because Richard Silverstein likes to prance about wearing a skirt, as in this photo, he seems to believe that this entitles him to be the official spokeswoman for all Israeli females. HE has decided that they are all frightened. And what scares them? The fact that Israel is defending its security! The way to get these ladies unfrightened is to STOP defending security and simply allow the Hamas barbarians to rape and plunder and murder!

But the cold, hard truth is that this is how Israeli women feel about this subject. They are frightened. In this case it bleeds over from the issue of sexual violence to the issue of secrecy and state power.
