When blogger Richard Silverstein isn’t expressing support for the end of the Jewish state, defending terror groups like Hamas, or engaging in smears and reckless attacks against his opponents, he’s often busy peddling false “scoops“ based on little or no evidence.
These “scoops” by Silverstein (who’s an occasional contributor to ‘Comment is Free’) at a blog he calls ‘Tikun Olam’, have at times been cited by the BBC, Der Spiegel, The Daily Telegraph, and the New York Times.
To cite one example of Silverstein’s less than rigorous fact-checking, the BBC (in August 2012) was among the news sites duped by a Silverstein “scoop” titled “Bibi’s Secret War Plan.”

His post claimed to be based on information from a high-level Israeli source detailing an upcoming Israeli attack on Iran.
However, the “secret document” he had “obtained” was a near verbatim quote from a Hebrew web forum entry that had appeared online days before his post, and which itself was based on mere speculation from open-source information.
Another example of a faux scoop was revealed on February 13, 2013, when Silverstein reported about the identity of a prisoner (previously known as Prisoner X) who was being held in an Israeli jail and later committed suicide.  Silverstein’s 2013 post – reporting that the mystery prisoner was an Australian-Israeli Mossad agent named Ben Zygier - proved that his original December 2010 “scoop,” alleging that the secret prisoner was a former Iranian Revolutionary Guard general named Ali-Reza Asgari, was completely false.

Now, for the latest:
A few days ago, we were contacted by an Israeli who’s aware of Silverstein’s penchant for publishing “scoops” based on little or no research or fact-checking.  He explained how he recently fed Silverstein completely made-up stories, selling them as “scoops”, to see if he would bite.  Here’s one of the emails (a snapshot we were provided of the original) our source sent to Silverstein on October 9, purporting to have secret information on news regarding the Israeli drone which crashed on October 8.

That same day, Silverstein reported the following, quoting verbatim his “anonymous Israeli source” in a post entitled “Israeli Drones Fallin’ from the Skies Like Flies: Third UAV Sabotaged by Hacking.”

The UAV didn’t crash, the UAV control center lost communication due to heavy interference in the COM link. After few very long minutes at which the re establish comm procedure failed, the CCC (control center commander) ordered the self-destruction of the UAV. There was lots of drama as it appeared the UAV had a mind of its own or that someone gained positive control.

Then, on October 13, the Israeli “source” sent him the following concocted tale, purporting to represent secret information on another Israeli drone failure.

And, two days later, in a post titled ‘Iran Hacks Azerbaijan’s Israeli-Made Drone Fleet‘, Silverstein wrote that his “Israeli source” revealed that “the Iranians have hacked Azerbaijan’s Israeli-made drone fleet as well.” Silverstein then quoted directly from the email he received:

Using [a nearly identical drone] to the fallen Hermes 450, several months ago IAF…drones also failed in Azerbaijan.  [They were] using the Azery Hermes control units with some temporary modifications [paralleling those of] Israeli drones signals.  The training exercise failed after similar concerns of successful Iranian penetration were raised.

Again, Silverstein immediately published completely fabricated information.
Well, evidently, shortly after these two posts, he was being ridiculed on the Israeli forum ‘Fresh’, and finally realized he had no choice but to admit that he published erroneous information. In a post entitled ‘The Art of the con’, Silverstein wrote:

After the latest crash, I received an anonymous e-mail from someone purporting to be an insider who knew about the crashes and the reasons for them

This is extremely misleading. The ‘source’ didn’t even establish his credentials.

The Israeli security forum, Fresh, began to post material about the story with a link to my post.  At a later point, a forum Admin posted a notice that I had received an e-mail from a source they knew and they predicted what the message said and what I would write in my post.  If I had seen that Fresh posting I would’ve known of the fraud earlier and stopped using this source.

Again, you have to wonder why Silverstein even considered this anonymous person to be a “source” in the first place.

my earlier reporting on Israeli drone failures derives from a trusted source, as I noted. In order to dampen the potential for scandal of a major military system facing repeated failures, the IAF or others involved with Israeli intelligence wanted to discredit those reports.  That would mean any subsequent reporting by me or others on this theme would be immediately brought into question.  It would also tend to discredit any future reporting I did on any subject involving Israeli national security or intelligence.

This being said, this has taught me lessons and also ‘enriched’ my view of Israel’s intelligence apparatus and its methods.  First, no stories will be published here from anonymous sources.

He then tries to turn it around, and place the blame on Israelis.

Readers ought to give some thought to why Israelis feel the need to perpetrate hoaxes. They need to put up a smokescreen that conceals truths that are perceived as damaging to Israeli interests.  One of the ways they deem effective is to engage in deception that discredits an enemy.  But the use of deception on as wide a scale as Israel uses officially, forces outsiders to discount anything they hear from such sources.

First, the suggestion that this particular hoax was orchestrated by Israeli officials is comical. Silverstein’s “source” in the stories he cited didn’t even attempt to establish his security credentials, nor did he explain how the “inside information” was obtained in the first place.
Moreover, it should be noted that CiF Watch, as with other blogs and news sites, similarly receives emails from readers claiming they have inside information.  However, as we take our mission and our credibility seriously, we don’t simply copy and paste text from anonymous emails into blog posts and legitimize the information as a “scoop” by a “secret source” without first meticulously corroborating the claim.
Richard Silverstein not only devotes his blog to smearing the Jewish state – while defending even the most openly malevolent extremists – but routinely spreads wild claims and, at times, false information under the veneer of promoting “liberal” values and social justice.

Little Dickie's Knowledge of Judaism

The neo-nazi kapo Richard Silverstein likes to pretend that he knows a little something about Judaism and even misnamed his anti-Semitic blog "Tikun Olam," which he thinks means the promotion of jihad and the leftist agenda.

There he actually writes:  "Israeli law is no more correct on this or many other issues than the Shulchan Aruch, which dictates that couples have sex via holes in a sheet."  Hat tip to our pals at Israellycool.

Now Dickie is as ignorant about what is contained in the Shulchan Aruch as he is ignorant about everything else in Judaism.  Suffice it to say that the Shulchan Aruch says nothing of the sort.   Moreover the old urban legend that Orthodox Jews have sex through a hole in a sheet is as silly and as baseless as are the urban legends about the allegators crawling beneath the streets of Manhattan or the UFOs regularly visiting New Mexico.  Indeed, having sex through a sheet is downright prohibited in Judaism, which strongly favors full eroticism.

but we suspect he also has never had any procreation with his own wife, who evidently got pregnant from the turkey baster.  Jews should supply Kapostein with a sexy young nice sheep and then say to him: F*** Ewe!! 

Perhaps Dickie is badmouthing the Shulchan Aruch because he is upset that it looks down upon sex with young minors and with barnyard animals?

Kapo Dickie Upset when Documents about Leftists get Leaked

Our favorite little kapo, Little Dickie Silverstein, has long bragged (with no basis in fact) that he is the "Wikileaks of Israel".   This is on the basis of his constant willingness to leak classified information that damages Israel's security.  Dickie of course is not interested in transparency but in harming Israel.  That is why every leftist traitor in Israel knows that classified materials can be published on the web by passing them to the Dickaling.  Dickie's contribution is that he hates Israel and owns his own blog, with a readership of over a dozen people.

Dickie long championed the sex offender who ran Wikileaks as a great hero, and it is not clear what Dickie liked MORE about him, his sexual perversion and crimes or his leaking security information.

In any case, Dickie suddenly has discovered a horrible case of leaking documents that he regards as downright fascist!  It is when the Zionist Israeli student movement Im Tirtzu obtained some "classified" documents about Marxist anti-Israel leftist shyster Michael Sfard and leaked them to the press!

Richard Silverstein evidently wrote an attack piece on Iranian-Israeli analyst Meir Javedanfar for the website Raimondo runs, a piece that, without even reading it, probably means that Javedanfar once politely critised Silverstein’s understanding of Iran in email, in print or in person and suddenly found himself being called a Kahanist-MEK sleeper or somesuch. Anyway, Raimondo read it and was unimpressed (Javedanfar doesn’t want war on Iran, innit).

Dennis “Justin” Raimondo is in fact a Neo-Nazi conspiracy nut, with ties to Holocaust Deniers, someone who claims that the Joos were actually behind the 9-11 attacks on the US. His “proof” is that a Scottish newspaper claims a group of Israeli moving men were picked up that day (9-11) in Jersey on suspicion of visa violations and one of those movers had a sock in the truck with cash in it, proving that the Mossad had bombed the WTC. Maybe Dickie can start stealing scoops and discoveries from those Holocaust Hoax Neo-Nazi web sites?  Oops, sorry, we forgot, he already does that!

You recall that SSilverstein likes to dub himself the "Israeli Wikileaks."  Actually the only people to use that term have used in in sarcasm to mock Dickie's sense of self-importance and empty credibility.

Kapo Dickie Defends and Celebrates the Iranian Massacre of Jewish Children in Bulgaria

The Dickaling's latest tantrum is against Jerry Seinfeld.  It seems that Seinfeld donated some money for a college fellowship that is administered by the pro-Israel "Stand with Us" organization.  SSilverstein thinks that is intolerable.  How dare anyone donate money to anyone besides Iran, the Hamas, and himself!  The soup nazi Silverstein also takes some swipes at the actor who plays Kramer for his off-color racist jokes.

We think that SSilverstein is a thousand times more racist than "Kramer" and is just jealous because someone is going to college, and it is not him.

Then there is his little problem with that "J" word --- job!!!

Meanwhile, Dickie is no doubt upset that the Seinfeld show features so many Jewish actors and not a single Iranian Holocaust Denier or a Hamas suicide bomber!  That is RACISM!

Silverstein (somehow with a straight face) calls himself pro Israel which is akin to Karl Marx calling himself pro business. Five Years of Exposing the Kapo Richard Silverstein

We thought it would be a good to summarize the recent years of exposing Richard Silverstein's activities on this blog and draw conclusions.
Richard Silverstein, AKA Little Dickie, AKA Kapostein, AKA Dickie SSilverstein, is a chronically unemployed anti-Semitic blogger who refuses to get a job and lives off of sponging from his lawyer wife Janis White.  (We note this because he likes to badmouth politicials like Sylvan Shalom who accept financial support from their wives.)  Silverstein has gotten himself a smidgen of media exposure and attention lately, but only because various persons interested in leaking "news" or stories that are damaging to Israel run to Dickie to help them make those leaks.

Why are they coming to Dickie instead of to a real journalist?  Well, because they know that Dickie is so anti-Israel that he can always be counted upon to leak things that are damaging to Israel's security, and because many of the stories he leaks are of items whose publication in Israel is prohibited under its equivalent to the War Secrets Act.  So aside from his notorious anti-Semitism, Dickie himself adds nothing at all to the efforts of those leakers.  (Which has not stopped him from claiming falsely to be the "Israeli Wikileaks")

Aside from this, Dickie is today a de facto agent for the Iranian genocidal junta and for the Hamas.  He is so openly anti-Semitic that he is widely regarded as a Neo-Nazi.  His journalist credentials and credibility are evident in the fact that his most important "scoop" on his blog to date has been a posting in which he smears his own parents and accuses them falsely of abusing him.  There are also growing disturbing reports in the internet about Silverstein being a transvestite and being involved in child pornography.

SSilverstein's "T": Dickie Turns Treason into Charity

While Little Dickaling has a long track record of pretending to know something about Judaism, he proves how ignorant he is with his latest blog dropping concerning the notion of charity in Judaism or "Tzedakah."

Basically, for kapos like Dickie, it amounts to supporting anti-Israel political groups seeking Israel's annihilation. In his posting, SSilverstein urges his blog readers, all 6 of them, to send money to a long list of "charities," every single one of which, without exception, is a treasonous anti-Israel propaganda group.

We were also amused by Dickie's tantrum when pro-Israel speakers in the Seattle area dared to point out that the treatment of homosexuals in Israel is infinitely better than it is in Arab countries. Dickie jumped on the jihadist bandwagon of loons claiming that this constituites "pinkwashing." Yes, SSilverstein did use that nonsense word. It is "pinkwashing" to explain that Israel treats homosexuals decently because this supposedly covers up Israel's inhumane treatment of Palestinians, so inhumane that it is a thousand times better than the treatment of Arabs in Arab countries.

Now since Dickie has such a passionate feeling of identitfication with the LGBT movement, being a "T" himself in at least three different senses of "T" (traitor, terrorist, and transvestite) one might have expected him to be happy that Israel treats its own "pinks" so nicely.

But for Neo-Nazi scum like SSilverstein, Jews can never do anything good.

Hamas Firster Dickie Silverstein

In his diaper dropping from Jan 27 2012 on his terrorist blog, the Hamas Firster Dickie the Kapo SSilverstein has taken to using that term of derision by anti-Semites "Israel Firster" to refer to pro-Israel Jews. This is just SSilverstein's way of dragging out that old slander against American Jews that they are disloyal to America because they support Israel. The only question here is whether Dickie should be termed a Hamas Firster or an Iran Firster. He can fairly be described as both and either.

Dickie is also upset with the leftist hippie magazine "Tablet," which Dickie describes as a "neo-conservative" web magazine. Of course, like so many anti-Semites, Dickie uses the term "neo-conservative" when he means Jews. Tablet is indeed run by Jews and is not as anti-Israel as SSilverstein and his Ku Klux Klan friends would like. Making it "neocon."

We think SSilverstein really got upset because Tablet recently ran an article titled, "Die, Nazi Scum" and Dickie seems to have taken that personally as an attack on himself.
